*Our products are handmade in Peru and Bolivia where they have worked with alpaca fiber for thousands of years.
*Alpaca fiber is processed with soap and water. Harsh chemicals are not used to remove lanolin as in wool products.
*Alpaca fibers are smooth and hollow which creates an insulated non-scratchy product whereas wool is a barbed solid fiber.

A must have for those cold winter days 100% Alpaca Scarf. Beautiful classic styling. Imagine a scarf long enough to double in half and tuck ends through just like a good winter scarf should be worn. The scarf is 84" long and 7 " wide. Hand crocheted around the edges with delicate hand crocheted rosettes and fringe at both ends. 8 different colors to choose from. Hand wash, cold water and we suggest baby shampoo or cut dish washing soap. Woolite is too harsh unless the scarf is unusually dirty. Hang or dry flat and never dry it in the dryer.

The two lovely young ladies wearing our fur hats are from the Folk/Indie musical group CIRCA PALEO. A well known band from San Antonio, Texas who perform at our local Great Lakes Medieval Faire where we also sell alpaca products and dolls.
